Welcome to the Madderty Parent Council
The Parent Council (PC) is a group of parents and carers that represents all of the parents/carers of the children at Madderty Primary School.
The main purpose of the PC is to be a regular link between the school and parents, working in partnership to create a welcoming school which is inclusive for all.
To develop and engage in activities which support the education and welfare of the pupils.
To find out more about the PC, please follow the links below.
In recent years we have:
- Helped organise and fund the multipurpose path around the playground
- Organised the after school activity club
- Bought multiple books and learning resources
- Assisted with funding of trips
The PC wants to make the most of the school for our children and parents.
We have semi regular meetings (approx 1 per term) to talk about ways we can add benefit to the learning experience; of course, much of what we do requires fund raising.
Some of the activities we are involved with include:
- Spring Fayre
- Christmas stalls
- Sports day refreshments
- Tea towels
We'd love for you to come along to one of the meetings! Please get in touch via our email address if you have any issues or ideas you would like us to raise.
Your Parent Council Officers for 2019-2020 are:
