Welcome to the Madderty Parent Council Page
The Parent Council (PC) is a group of parents and carers that represent all the parents/carers of the children at Madderty school.
Part of the purpose of the PC is to be a regular link between the school and parents, working in partnership to create a welcoming school which is inclusive for all.
To develop and engage in activities which support the education and welfare of the pupils.
To find out more please follow the link to the constitution below.
In recent years we have:
- Helped organise and fund the multipurpose path around the playground
- Organised the after school activity club (now running 3 days a week)
- Bought multiple books and learning resources
- Assisted with funding of trips
The PC wants to make the most of the school for our children and parents.
We have semi regular meetings (approx 1 a term) to talk about ways we can add benefit to the learning experience. Of course much of what we do requires fund raising.
Some of the activities we do are:
Sports day refreshments
We'd love for you to come along to one of the meetings or get in touch via our email address:
If you have any issues or ideas you would like us to raise please let us know.
The main roles within the PC are:
Chair: Isla Robb
Treasurer: Sheila Keron
Secretary: Kim McKeggie
